After a certain being in my life had a resurrection, I requested information about the general significance of resurrection. Jesus came forth and explained, with fantastic contextualization:
“You see, the body is only one aspect of our existence. Most people take it to be their entire existence, as they become accustomed to the realm of the senses from a young age. It is a gross physical experience that overtakes the subtler experiences of energy and memory from other planes.
So we forget everything that came before this incarnation, and believe that we are our bodies and nothing else. We may hold a belief in a soul, but we don’t really know what that means.
Sometimes a person has an awakening experience. Perhaps they sense something by energetic means, or they have a premonition. They start to realize that there is more to us than just the five senses and the body and the body’s mind-brain.
Or they may have a spiritual experience: they may see a ghost, or hear an angel warning them of danger that then gets averted. Then they start to realize there are other planes of existence.
When a person meditates, they get in touch with other aspects of themselves that exist on those other levels and other planes.
You see, time does not really exist as it seems. It has to do with physical reality and the degradation of objects that are formed, even space itself. There are other dimensions in which there is no time, or in which time works very differently—even where it goes backwards! So when people see loved ones on the other side, this is possible due to the intersections between the time and space of different dimensions. What connects the dimensions is karma, connections with loved ones and perhaps other entities—depending on one’s path through lifetimes. Our connections last beyond lifetimes, so we have to be very careful with whom we choose to engage. Energies flow between dimensions, and can be draining or energizing.
What you do to help people cut connections is very valuable. They need not be drained by a lost relative on the other side. They need not keep a connection that should properly be closed out after the purpose of the connection is completed, or keep a karma going once its seed has borne fruit.
Most of us have a purpose to fulfill, or lessons to learn when we come into a human body. Sometimes that purpose does not get finished in the time we have, and a little extra time is beneficial. Those who experience near death experiences (NDEs) often return in order to complete a purpose. Those who still have lessons continue them in future existences.
A resurrection is a specific type of near-death experience (NDE). Not only has one’s heart stopped, but the soul has left the body and gone to paradise. There, in that timeless space, a small council is held with the Soul. They compare the benefits of returning to that life with whatever other purposes that Soul chooses for future lives. Usually there is an up-leveling of impact on return to that body in such circumstances. The purpose is super-charged, and that soul is verifiably a saint with vast perspective.
Often, the story and word of resurrection itself is incredibly inspiring, and catches on, and word spreads. This can enable that Soul, that Saint, to reach more individuals. You can let people know about the resurrection of François*.”
